  1. A Glen Burnie man was fatally struck by a car on the I-97 northbound around 11:45 pm on Friday. According to the police, Maria Ines Cortes-Gutierrez, 40, of Glen Burnie, was traveling north on I-97 when she stopped her car, which had no lights on to check on her friend Victor Antonio Diaz Aguilera, 33, who was driving in a separate vehicle. A third car attempted to move out of the way of Aguilera’s car which was parked on the road shoulder and struck Aguilera who died at the scene. (Newsbreak)

  4. A Bethesda child and a Baltimore adult were charged after a Brooklyn Park car theft and assault. Police reported that three males assaulted a juvenile and demanded his car keys while he was walking toward his home. Police said the victim complied and the suspects drove away in the red 2003 Ford Expedition. The victim did not want to be treated by the Anne Arundel County Fire Department. Officers said they found and charged 18-year-old Tishawn Kendol and a 12-year-old on Thursday. (Patch)
