  4. Miss Black Sacramento and Miss Black Fig Scholarship Contest Held last week, it showcased some of the best and brightest young ladies in the area. Ariana Lewis, a local 25-year-old who started a youth mentoring nonprofit organization, was crowned Miss Black Sacramento. Kimia Jacobs, a senior at Rocklin High School, was crowned Miss Black Teen Sacramento. (The Sacramento Observer)
