The manufacturing industry in Connecticut is thriving and opening doors to opportunity. AARP Connecticut, as part of a multifaceted, intergenerational approach to supporting ages 50 and over with an interest in continuing their education, Make a donation to The American Manufacturing Hall of Fame for Older Students Enrolled in the Manufacturing Program at Connecticut Community College.
Scholarships of up to $1,250 per student will be awarded through Connecticut College of Technology, while funds last. Eligibility for the scholarship is as follows:
- A student age 50 and older who is enrolled or enrolled in any Connecticut Community College system fabrication program.
- The student wishes to share their story and demographic information with AARP for potential publication via AARP’s communication channels, as well as willingness to sign relevant publications.
