Fiber First from Excitel offers users a 100Mbps plan for a month at Rs 699. JioFiber offers a 30Mbps internet speed data plan at Rs 399 per month. The FUP limit set in this plan is 3300 GB or 3.3 TB. With JioFiber’s 30Mbps plan, students can access seamless and seamless internet across multiple devices. Besides high speed internet, users also get symmetrical download and upload speed from the provider. This is rather one of the cheaper plans from the ISP and as such it does not include subscriptions to any OTT platform like the higher priced plans from JioFiber, however, it is one of the best options when users are looking for cost effective plans.
2 cost-effective BSNL plans
The government-owned telecommunications company BSNL under Bharat Fiber Broadband offers exciting plans for students who want pocket-friendly options with adequate internet speed. BSNL’s “Fiber Basic” and “Fiber Basic Plus” plans offer internet speeds of 30Mbps and 60Mbps respectively. The Fiber Basic plan comes at 449 rupees per month, while Fiber Basic Plus costs users 599 rupees per month.
Both of these rates are not GST exclusive and both plans come with a FUP limit of 3300 GB or 3.3 TB. In addition to the data limit, users can enjoy an internet speed of 2Mbps, and both plans offer a 90% discount of up to 500 rupees on rent on the first bill.
