The application deadline for National Scholarship Programs has been extended

New Delhi:

The application deadline for National Scholarship Programs has been extended. Application for Four Scholarships Offered by the Regulator of Higher Education, University Grants Commission (UGC), Three All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) Scholarships will now expire on 31st December. Eligible students can apply to the National Scholarship Portal (NSP)-scholarships.gov.in until December 31.

UGC and AICTE Scholarships include UGC Ishan Uday Special Scheme for North East District, PG Indira Gandhi Scholarship for One Child, PG Scholarship for Undergraduate Rank Holders, PG SC, ST Scholarship Scheme, AICTE Pragati Scholarship for Female Students (Technical Degree and Diploma), and the AICTE Saksham Scholarship for Students with Special Abilities (Technical Degree and Diploma), and the AICTE SWANATH Scholarship for Technical Degree and Diploma.

To apply for the scholarship programs for the 2021-22 academic session, students will have to first register on the website with their names, contact details and names of countries.

While Ishan Uday is a scheme of Special Scholarships for North Eastern District (NER) Students in India, PG Indira Gandhi Scholarship for Single Girl Child has been provided by UGC to support education of unmarried girl child in postgraduate courses. The PG Undergraduate Scholarship is for students with ÔÇťoutstanding performance at the undergraduate level, and who are currently pursuing their postgraduate education.

PG Scholarship Program for SC, ST Students for Professional Courses has been offered by UGC with the aim of providing financial assistance to Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates to pursue postgraduate studies in professional courses.

The AICTE PG Scholarship is for qualified GATE, GPAT and CEED students admitted to AICTE accredited regular graduate programs. Selected candidates will get INR 2,400 per month for 24 months or for the duration of the course.
