Random Acts Matter is offering two scholarships for the 2021-22 academic year.
This award honors an exceptional alumnus from both St. Charles High Schools (St. Charles North and St. Charles East) who are committed to making their community a better and kinder place to live.
Random Acts Matter is a local organization whose mission is to galvanize the community to provide care and compassion through random acts of kindness and support.
The award winner will be selected by the RAM Board of Directors and will be honored at the Seniors Celebrations.
Who is eligible to apply for the award? High school seniors are in good standing and understand the value of education and embrace learning opportunities both inside and outside of school. This $1,000 award is intended to further the recipient’s education.
Applicants must have a demonstrated commitment to community service.
Application materials include: a completed application; Two letters of recommendation addressing acts of kindness/community service from two adults, one from within high school and one from a community member; and a 500-word essay outlining the applicant’s commitment to providing acts of care, compassion, and kindness.
