Apply online for 2022-23 Scholarships and Financial Aid before Feb. 1

Here is how to apply for scholarships awarded by either the Scholarships and Financial Aid Office or the Academic College in just two steps.

  • Step 1
    If you haven’t already, submit your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online. You must submit a FAFSA in addition to your scholarship application in order to be eligible for scholarships based on financial need. The FAFSA takes 20 to 30 minutes to complete. The deadline for submitting the FAFSA is April 1, 2022.
  • Step 2
    Submit Scholarship application for current undergraduate students In MyRED under the Financial Aid tab. The application is now available until February 1, 2022. Scholarships are awarded on a first-come-first-served basis, and you are automatically considered after submitting a FAFSA and Scholarship application for current undergraduate students Apply early to secure your eligibility.

In-person visits are possible at the Husker Hub office (102 Canfield Administration Building) from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. CST Monday through Friday.

You can also choose to meet with a Husker Hub specialist for a convenient virtual visit from 8:30 AM to 4:45 PM CST Monday through Friday. Please note that there may be longer waiting times than usual during peak hours.
