“We understand how difficult it is for students who want to pursue their education after high school, especially with the pandemic disrupted,” said Spada Law Group President. Lynn Spada. “Now, more than ever, we need to do what we can to empower students as they work to overcome barriers to new opportunities.”
Spada said the scholarship concept evolved from his own experience growing up in the inner city and his determination to keep going in school despite the circumstances. His parents worked three jobs to support the family.
“I wasn’t sure how to make it happen, but there were people in my life who helped me along the way and showed me what was possible,” he said. “This is what we want to do for the students. It has been amazing to see the previous recipients move forward and pursue their dreams. They are dedicated and talented, and we are delighted to see them have this opportunity.”
