Cardinal Authority Q&A: Louisville signee Max Cabana

Canadian born Max CabanaWilliston Northampton, offensive tackle for Easthampton (Massachusetts), is an ice hockey player turned football. His determination to succeed in football led him to move from his family in Quebec to Massachusetts.

Industry-created 247Sports Composite ranked Cabana the 135th offensive tackle nationally, and the 11th goal overall in Massachusetts. 247 Sports places the upcoming Cardinal at 107th in his position and 9th in Massachusetts.

Cabana collected eight scholarship offers before he chose college, and announced Cardinals over Wake Forest on June 21, 2021.

“Of course, the city is great, the stadium and sports facilities are state-of-the-art, but I really liked the welcome I received from all members of the coaching staff during my visit, and I felt right at home” after his summer commitment, Cabana said. “I totally agree with Coach Satterfield’s philosophy, the family spirit that pervades this team, and Coach Bicknell’s way of working.”
