The school says the new “21Forward” scholarship is a gift for the class of 2021. Students’ tuition fees are paid in full through a generous private donation.
It is a three-year scholarship, so students can attend full or part-time with a minimum of six credit hours.
You can obtain an associate’s degree or workforce certification with the scholarship, but there are some eligibility requirements.
Eligible students must have graduated from high school during the 2020-2021 academic year. The school says students should begin Saint-Jacques lessons in the fall 2021 semester.
Students must also live in the Saint-Jacques tax district when they graduate from high school, including the following school districts and schools:
Channelview ISD
- Endeavor alternative school
Deer Park ISD
Galina Park ISD
- Early College High School
Laporte ISD
Pasadena ISD
- Vocational and technical secondary school
- Pasadena Memorial High School
- South Houston High School
Sheldon ISD
Home school and private school graduates and GED graduates are also eligible for the scholarship.
