The Call Center is an exciting division of ECU with multiple teams serving future students, current students, and alumni. We are a passionate team and pride ourselves on providing exceptional customer service.

The ECU call center handles a wide range of inquiries through a variety of channels including incoming and outgoing calls, email, online chat and social media.

We currently have vacancies across our future and current student teams in the Call Center:

  • for us future student The team handles inquiries from all prospective students with course advice, guidance on admission requirements and entry pathways, fees and scholarship advice.
  • for us current student The team handles inquiries from all current students and alumni providing advice on enrollment, course advice, system navigation, and student support in general, as well as handling general inquiries from the wider community.

what are you going to do

  • Deliver an exceptional experience in every interaction
  • Ensure that interactions are recorded and inquiries follow up
  • Provide accurate and relevant information in an effective manner
  • Work in a team of up to 15 employees
  • Meet quantitative and qualitative personal/team goals

Main criteria

  • You have a real desire to help students change their lives through higher education
  • Previous experience in customer service
  • Previous experience in a call center environment
  • Experience using multiple inquiry channels (eg social media, chats) and CRM
  • Ability to work on repetitive tasks and motivate
  • Can do positive attitude and enthusiasm
  • Proven track record of working to achieve performance targets
  • Previous higher education experience (desirable)

You will also demonstrate personal traits that align with the University’s values ​​of integrity, respect, rational inquiry, personal excellence and courage.

These positions attract wages $66,813 – $71,161 (HEW 4) per year plus 17% college pension contribution, full time.
