Community Foundations now accepting applications for Community Scholarship Programs

The Vanderburgh Community Foundation and the Warrick County Community Foundation are pleased to announce the opening of the 2022 Community Scholarship Awards cycle.

“Many donors have honored loved ones, high schools or professions by giving them scholarship opportunities through community foundations,” says Sydney Hardgrave, Regional Director of Community Engagement and Impact. “We administer several scholarship funds set up by individuals, families, and organizations to help local students pursue advanced education. Together, these scholarships make up our Community Scholarship Programs.”

Eligibility requirements and selection criteria for each scholarship are determined by the scholarship founder. Each scholarship is unique and supports students with diverse educational backgrounds and goals. Students may apply for one or more scholarships, as long as they meet the specific eligibility requirements. Details about each scholarship and application requirements are posted online.

The Vanderburgh Community Foundation awards 25 awarded scholarships that provide support in excess of $75,000 each year. Community grant applications are due by 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 9, 2022. Please visit www.communityfoundationalliance.org/vanderburgh/scholarships/opportunities for details and to start applying online.
