(press release) San Ramon, California – As part of its ongoing commitment to support the education of future eye care professionals, CooperVision is now accepting applications for its 2022 Best Practice Student Scholarship Program. Now in its third year, the program is an extension of the company’s Best Practices initiative, which celebrates innovative ways in which eye care practices in the United States provide exceptional patient care and advance the profession, bringing them together to share their insights with their peers.
Each year, three scholarship recipients attend the annual Best Practices Summit, a two-day educational event where they can meet and collaborate with a prestigious group of best practices. They are also invited to share their experiences as part of the Best Media Practices Roundtable.
“A major benefit of best practice is the opportunity to learn from and collaborate with other eye care professionals. Including students in these discussions has proven to be mutually beneficial. Students are eager to learn from their mentors at CooperVision,” said Michael Andrews, Vice President, Professional and Government Affairs, Americas, CooperVision. Best Practice Program In turn, honorees typically learn new insights from scholarship recipients.
