As of October 29, Southeast Missouri State University has exceeded its vaccination rate by 70%. The rate reflects the number of faculty, staff, and students who shared proof of vaccination with the university, including those who received at least one dose of the vaccine.

Redhawk Vaccine Incentive Program

To encourage vaccination and improve chances of continuing to do the things that Redhawk community members enjoy, Southeast launched the Great SEMO Vaccine Give Away Get Away Incentive Program on August 26.

Target To achieve a 70% vaccination rate for students, faculty and staff by November 1, 2021.

This goal was exceeded on Friday 29 October 2021 – rewarding escape from chance for Students, faculty, and staff enjoy a week-long Thanksgiving holiday. Classes scheduled for November 22-23 have been canceled, and offices will be closed from November 22-26.

Campus vaccination events

Vaccination opportunities are being planned to give Southeast faculty, staff, and students easy access to protect themselves.

Here are the confirmed opportunities so far. Faculty, staff, and students may receive the first or second doses. If you qualify and are interested in getting a booster shot, you must have a vaccination card to get it. Unless otherwise noted, these are no-appointment clinics and no appointment is required:
