Rawalpindi: Punjab University has advised students to submit online applications till 30th December, for new admission under the Phase III Project for Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarship.
Students are advised to apply through the Higher Education Commission (HEC) online application portal https://ehsaas.hec.gov.pk. To gain admission into the University of Punjab, Prime Minister Imran Khan has launched the Ehsaas Scholarship Program for needy and poor students and all students whose family income is less than INR 45,000 per month and studying in undergraduate programs across any of the 129 HEC-recognized public universities are eligible to apply.
Undergraduate students in first and second semester are eligible to apply and students who are enrolled in the morning section are eligible for the third stage sense scholarship, students who are registered in evening sections on a self-funding basis are not eligible and students who are taking other scholarships such as Punjab Educational Endowment Fund, HEC Need-Based Scholarship or Any other scholarship is not eligible for this scholarship. Students who have not achieved their goal of obtaining further education due to financial problems can apply and gain admission under the scholarship programme.
