Farm Credit Mid-America College Scholarship Program Continues to Accept Applications Through December 2021

LOUISVILLE, Ky.And November 22 2021 /PRNewswire/ — Farm Credit Mid-America is proud to provide financial support to college-bound students entering the agricultural study area. Academic College Scholarships are awarded annually to individuals based on academic and leadership qualities, community involvement, and passion for promoting agriculture. The last date for submission of applications for the academic year 2022 is December 31, 2021.

College-related scholarships are among the many ways Farm Credit Mid-America invests in the future of agriculture and helps prepare the youth of today to become the agricultural leaders of tomorrow. Farm Credit Mid-America offers two scholarship options, the Farm Client Scholarship, and the Farm Credit Program in Central America.

The Client Agricultural Scholarship is awarded to the children or grandchildren of Farm Credit clients in Central America. Each year, 36 students majoring in agriculture or pursuing an agricultural or rural community-related career at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational or vocational school receive 1500 dollars Scholarships.

The Farm Credit Mid-America Scholars Program is designed for sophomores and junior college sophomores. It’s prizes 5000 dollars in financial support over two academic years to 20 students each year.
