Bayville, NJ – An online fundraiser has been held to create a scholarship in memory of the Bayville man who died Friday in an early morning crash.
Andrew B Needham was driving east just after 7 a.m. on Route 532 in Woodland Township when his car veered off the road and overturned, according to New Jersey state police.
Needham was pronounced dead at the scene. He was the only person in the car and no other cars were involved in the accident.
Barbara Leitner writes: “In his 18 years of age, Andrew has brought laughter, humor, and lots of love to everyone who knew him. His family and friends are devastated by his loss and fully intend to honor his memory in the most meaningful ways we know.” On the GoFundMe page.
The fundraiser will benefit from the Andrew Patrick Needham Career Education Scholarship Fund for students enrolled in IEPs who wish to further their education and prepare for a career.
“Andrew graduated in June of 2021, a vision and a reality of which we are incredibly proud. We want his legacy, our love and our pride for him to extend to other young people and families as they begin to lay the foundation for their futures,” said Leitner.
