IDTR Jamshedpur to revive technical school, free training to SC-ST students

Assembly on December 21: The Indo-Danish Tool Room (IDTR) in the Industrial Estate will revive the Samsung Technical Institute in Adityapur, which has been closed for the past three years. The foundation of this institute was laid in 2014 with the help of SSME Ministry at a cost of Rs 2 crore but closed in 2017.

Ashutosh Kumar, Senior Director of IDTR, said, “IDTR has taken the lead in reviving the closed institute. Training at this institute will start early in the new year. Initially, the training will include a three-month course in HHP (Tablets, Mobiles, Smartphones). ) and AV (LED, LCD, TV, home theater) and four months for RACHA (air conditioner, refrigerator, washing machine, microwave oven) Intermediate students or ITI and B Tech students will be trained during the course of the course SC/ST students will be given internships Free of charge, while general students and OBC students will have to pay a fee in the range of 15 to 20 thousand rupees. Tata Motors will meet 50 percent of the four-month training fee for general students and OBC students.”

He said that 10th grade students will be allowed to participate in this registration process in the Indo-Danish Instruments Room. This time a special scholarship will be provided to complete the ITI atg IDTR course.

SC/ST students at ITI are accepted into the Indo-Danish Instruments Room on a scholarship. Some of these courses are completely free. Different fees are set for different professions for general category students at the institute. According to the notification issued by the institute, tenth stage students can directly contact the institute for admission in the 2021-22 session.
