LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 5, 2022) — The University of Kentucky will host an information session for this fall’s 2022 Curiosity Fair from 4-5 pm Thursday, April 7, in the William T. Young Gallery. The information session is open to everyone.
Slated for Oct. 27, 2022, the Curiosity Fair at UK is an annual, community event that highlights the role of curiosity in education. Faculty, staff and students create “Curiosity Stations” or short demos that represent ideas from their classes, fields or research. There is always a wide variety of disciplines, and the event is an informal and fun way for participants to engage with new people and ideas. Past Curiosity Fairs have had attendances of up to 400 people, and the event has been beneficial in helping UK students discover possible majors and minors.
This Thursday’s information session will host organizers and past participants who will share their experience with the annual event and answer questions. There will also be coffee and cookies at the session.
If interested in attending, register here.
