LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship 2021
New Delhi: The Life Insurance Corporation of India is offering the Golden Jubilee Scholarship Program 2021 for students belonging to the Economically Weakest Section (EWS) to pursue their postgraduate studies. The online application deadline is December 31, 2021. Candidates can only apply through online mode.
The scholarship will be given to students who are pursuing their studies in public or private colleges in India. The Golden Jubilee LIC Scholarship 2021 also extends to technical and vocational courses at the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) Industrial Training Institutes and also integrated courses after Semester 12.

LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship 2021: Eligibility Criteria
LIC has different scholarship criteria for regular and female researchers:
For Regular Scholarships, all candidates who have passed Class 10 and Class 12 (or equivalent) examination with at least 60% marks (or equivalent score) in the 2020-21 academic year and whose parent has an annual income of not more than 2 Rs. lakh annually are eligible to apply for the scholarship.

A special scholarship is offered for a girl child after grade 10 to pursue postgraduate studies at the intermediate level or 10+2 pattern for two years.
Candidates who obtained 60% marks or an equivalent score in the Class 10 examination in the academic year 2020-21 are eligible, provided that their guardian has an annual income of not more than Rs. 2 lakh annually.
The regular scholarship is for students who are pursuing their undergraduate studies (or equivalent including integrated courses) and not for postgraduate studies.

The scholarship will be offered for the full duration of the course for regular researchers and two years for private researchers, provided the candidate meets the eligibility requirements for renewal.
An amount of Rs 20,000 per annum will be awarded to the selected regular scholar and must be paid in three instalments. An amount of INR 10,000 per annum will be awarded to a selected special girl pursuing her studies in a 10+2 cycle and the scholarship will be paid in three installments.
