Three NIU student organizations in the College of Engineering and Engineering Technology (CEET) including the National Society of Black Engineers, Society of Women Engineers, and Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers have joined forces with sponsor Collins Aerospace to host a series of information and sharing talks by CEET alumni who are emerging leaders in their fields. The events, open to all NIU students, faculty, and staff, will be held either virtually or in person at the Holmes Student Center.
Don Peterson, Ph.D., dean of CEET, said, “The students have worked so hard on this series, and we are very proud. We hope that these events will initiate a conversation and convergence of interdisciplinary knowledge and skills to unite the creativity needed to solve the complex challenges of our time.”
