As part of its ongoing commitment to the industry to continue to support print and graphic arts education, PRINTING United Alliance—the most comprehensive member-based print and graphic arts association in the United States—is pleased to share that it has created a more robust industry improvement program with new and improved membership services for educational members.
Students who are enrolled in an educational institution that is an active member of PRINTING United Alliance receive free membership in the PRINTING United Alliance. Their free membership provides access to online training and education, special brand certifications and badges, career resources, scholarships, webinars, discounts, award programs, industry leading events, and much more. More information is available here.
Students also get free membership to PRINTING United Alliance as an individual member for two years after graduation when they enter the workforce to ensure future success so they have the best tools and resources as they establish themselves in their career.
TAGA membership is now available to all student members
PRINTING United Alliance student members can now join TAGA, the technical association for the graphic arts, at no additional cost. Historically, membership in TAGA has been a separate membership. TAGA is known for its access to a network of fellow industry professionals and academics who conduct research and development in the diverse field of graphic communications.
“Our commitment to the future of print and graphic communications remains critical,” says Ford Powers, CEO of PRINTING United Alliance. “We are excited to work with some of the top schools and universities in the country to provide students with the latest ideas, trends, information, and technology to prepare them for a successful and rewarding career in printing.” Institution members and students have access to the following United Alliance printing programs and services:
