SBPP application opens today | Borneo Bulletin Online


The Ministry of Education (MoE) announced that the Education Loan Assistance Scheme (SBPP) application for the 2022/2023 academic year which commenced at 8.30am today, will close at 4pm on February 17.

Applicants wishing to apply for SBPP must also apply for at least one program offered by local higher education institutions via the Higher Education Centralized Admission System (HECAS) online application.

Applicants are required to submit the application form (soft copy) via email to sbpp@moe.gov.bn and all relevant documents – including printed SBPP and HECAS form – to the Department of Scholarship Management, Level 5, Block C, MoE no later than the SBPP closing date.

Application for SBPP will only be offered once a year. Applicants who have not received their official results but wish to apply, may submit their predicted results from their schools/ institutions. However, the result of the application will be based on their actual official results.

After the announcement of SBPP application results, unsuccessful applicants who meet the entry requirement of SBPP can submit a letter of appeal to the Department of Scholarship Management for further consideration. Applicants are only given three working days to submit their letters of appeal.
