Scholarships are intended to entitle candidates who can further their education and start a sustainable career in engineering, research and development or manufacturing
Siemens Ltd. has launched the ninth edition of the Siemens Scholarship Program. Based on the German model of dual education, the program encourages young people to become industry-ready engineers, launching a sustainable career in engineering, research and development or manufacturing.
Under this programme, Siemens provides financial assistance to deserving students. In addition, internships, mechatronics, soft skills training, projects and mentoring offered by Siemens will also familiarize these bright minds with industry dynamics, leading to their overall development. The scholarship program is available to students throughout the four years of graduation and 50% of the scholarships are for girls. As of 2021, 935 students from 93 public engineering colleges across 26 states in India were part of the Siemens Scholarship Programme.

The scholarship program follows a rigorous selection process.
Eligibility – Eligibility:
First-year students of government engineering colleges from the following majors can apply:
o mechanic / production
o Electronics and Telecommunications
o Computer Science / Information Technology
Age: up to 20 years
SSC: Minimum 60% of the total
HSC or equivalent result: 50% minimum and 60% minimum PCM aggregate
Annual family income: not more than Rs. 2 lakhs
Deadline for receiving applications: January 10, 2022 AD
