Just in time for the winter break, the Stampede Foundation has begun accepting applications for its Academic Scholarships and College Rodeo Scholarships.
Seniors from Weld County High School who meet general qualifications and are due to graduate in the spring of 2022 are encouraged to apply for the Stampede Foundation Academic Scholarship, which awards twenty $2,500 scholarships. Scholarship recipients will be selected based on their outstanding academic results, leadership in the community, and plans to continue their education. Recipients may use the scholarship at any accredited community college, university, or college.
For the eighth year, the Stampede Foundation will also award a $2,500 scholarship to Colorado rodeo athletes. Applicants must have competed in at least four NIRA rodeos during the 2021-22 season and be enrolled as a full-time student at a Colorado college or university and have plans for continued rodeo participation in the college.
Applications and more information about each scholarship are available at greeleystampede.org/p/scholarships. Completed online applications for the Academic Scholarship and College Rodeo Scholarship must be submitted by midnight February 28, 2022. Please email Bob Hinderaker at firstname.lastname@example.org with questions regarding the scholarship program.
