“The Main Street” Scholarship: Capital University’s financial aid

The scholarship was created to help students who cannot study higher education due to financial reasons.

BEXLEY, Ohio – Capital University gives prospective students the opportunity to study while relieving the financial pressure of paying for college.

Beginning in the fall semester of 2022, the university will offer a $20,000 merit-based award to all accepted full-time undergraduate students who are entering their first year of college. Students may be awarded more money based on their academic, community, and leadership experience.

According to the university, the Main Street Scholarship will only apply to tuition fees and not university and room and board fees.

To maintain the scholarship, students are required to maintain a GPA of at least 2.0 or high and be registered as a full-time student. It is also renewable for up to four years.

Existing students are not eligible to apply for the financial aid package.

According to the university’s website, the scholarship was created to help students who are unable to study higher education due to financial reasons. It is also part of Capital’s overall mission to create a more diverse and equitable society through equal opportunity education.
