Applications being accepted for Local Scholarship to assist a student whose post-secondary education has been delayed or interrupted

Women’s Association of Duck Woods Country Club Scholarship
The Women’s Association of Duck Woods Country Club is seeking qualified applicants for the 2022 WADWCC Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship is unusual in that it is awarded to area individuals whose post-secondary education has been interrupted or delayed.

Awarded annually, the scholarship honors the memory of all deceased members, recognizes the importance of education and life-long learning, and supports the organization’s commitment to support the financial needs of members of the community. Intended to assist a student whose post-secondary education has been interrupted or delayed, the scholarship is designed to aid recipients who are seriously pursuing an associate or bachelor degree.
Interested applicants must submit, by April 1, 2022:
- 1) a completed application,
- 2) an official high school transcript and an official transcript of any completed post-secondary course work,
- 3) two letters of reference (not relatives),
- 4) official letter of college acceptance or evidence of current enrollment from any accredited non-profit college or university on campus or on-line and
- 5) a resume of work experience including dates of employment.

Submissions will be reviewed by the selection committee and finalists will be contacted by May 2022.
