CONWAY — Applications are now available for a $500 scholarship offered by the Friends of the Field Memorial Library. The deadline to apply is May 1.
To be eligible, an applicant must be a Conway resident, a graduating high school senior, maintain a high grade point average, demonstrate good communication skills, and submit an essay on the topic of climate change and global warming.

DEERFIELD — The Brick Church Music Series continues at The First Church of Deerfield, 71 Old Main St., on Sunday, Feb. 27, at 3 pm
The concert features Jiayan Sun, a Smith College music professor hailing from Yantai, China, who will perform “Tone Poems” by Frederic Chopin and Claude Debussy.
There is a suggested donation of $10 to $20 at the door as a fundraiser for the church. All attendees must wear masks and show proof of vaccination and booster shot. Attendees also need to register for contract tracing, providing a phone number and email address.

SHUTESBURY — The Shutesbury Town Democrats will caucus Saturday, Feb. 26, at 11 am to elect two delegates and one alternate to represent the town at the Democratic State Convention. The meeting is open to all, but only registered Democrats are allowed to vote.

LEVERETT — Two Leverett residents, Giselle Hajir and Selwyn Heminway, were named to the College of William & Mary’s Dean’s List for the fall semester.
Students on the Dean’s List have achieved a 3.6 grade point average or higher during the semester.
