Twin Falls County officials accepting applications for drug-free scholarship

Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) – The Twin Falls County District Attorney announced Tuesday that it will accept applications for the state attorney’s drug-free grant.

The scholarship will be available to graduating high school seniors in Twin Falls County. In order to qualify, applicants must write an essay about ways to reduce the sale and use of illegal drugs in Twin Falls County.

“I am very excited to be able to help increase the education of a deserving student in Twin Falls County, and at the same time, give them a forum to educate fellow students and the community about the dangers of illegal drugs,” said Twain. Falls Attorney General Grant Lups.

A full scholarship for the 2022-2023 academic year will be awarded to CSI based on those essays, as well as an oral presentation and applications of finalists. Applicants ranked second and third will receive tuition fees for one semester of CSI.

Interested students can find applications at any Twin Falls County high school and at the Twin Falls County District Attorney’s office. The application deadline is March 1. If you would like more information, you are invited to contact the Office of the Attorney General at (208)-736-4020.
