(Please note although it is written that application process deadline is August 15th, for partner organizations the deadline is April 30. The UIPM has set its internal deadline to have enough time to evaluate and choose the scholarship holder.)
One UIPM pentathlete, Sondos Aboubakr (EGY), has already successfully completed the MSA program in RIOU in 2021 having become the first pentathlete to be awarded a scholarship. Aboubakr is already making strides forward in the sport industry and she has been involved in the organization of major UIPM competitions in 2021 in her home country.

UIPM President Dr. Klaus Schormann said: “This is another wonderful opportunity for our great UIPM athletes to secure a valuable place at such a prestigious university.
“Our sport has always been strongly linked to the academic world. Many pentathletes have achieved high success in their careers based on qualifications along with their sporting commitments and their intellectual capacity. I strongly encourage athletes to apply.
“The UIPM Executive Board members are constantly working very closely with the UIPM Athletes Committee and external organizations to identify opportunities to support athletes – and this will be developed in the years to come through the ACP.”
All applications for RIOU should be submitted to UIPM by a Member Federation vis email email@example.com. For more information please contact also this email.
