University of Hull Announces Fully-Funded PhD Scholarships up to Rs15,70,653

The University of Hull in England has invited applications for PhD scholarships. The last date to apply for the scholarship is December 31. Candidates selected for the scholarship will spend one year at the University of Hull completing a Postgraduate Diploma degree while developing their research proposal. This will be followed by a three-year PhD with one of the academic institutions, aligned with Aura industry partners or based in the new £12 million Aura Innovation Centre.

International candidates who wish to reside in Hull or Durham for the duration of the PhD portion of their studies will receive a scholarship covering all four-year tuition fees and an annual stipend (this was determined annually by UKRI and was £15,609 for 21/22 periods) dependent on disease progression. Other study sites will be self-funded.

Successful candidates will have access to state-of-the-art facilities and research support via partner academic institutions. The scholarships are operated by the Aura Center for Doctoral Training (CDT), with partners The Universities of Durham, Newcastle and Sheffield, and CDT also works closely with more than 20 industry partners.

University of Hull Scholarships: Eligibility

Candidates wishing to apply must have a First Class Honors or 2:1 Honors degree and a Masters (or international equivalent) in any of the following or related subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Earth Science or Engineering Or geography, mathematics, physics, or psychology. Candidates must also meet the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) eligibility rules.

In addition, international applications must also meet the English language requirements of the Aura CDT academic partners; This course requires IELTS 7.0 academically overall, with no less than 6.0 in each skill (or equivalent).
