Vivo has teamed up with Protean (formerly known as NSDL) to announce a new phase of its “Vivo For Education” initiative.
“Driven by the goal of creating a world of joy through superior and streamlined technology and experiences, the brand’s offerings help users capture happy moments and make it a leader in the Indian market,” the company said in a statement.
In line with the objective of the Government of India to support education, the program aims to bridge the social and financial gap and support students from low-income families to continue their education.
The activity will equip children with a smartphone that can help them achieve a rich learning experience even through online distance learning in difficult times.
Under this phase of the initiative, students currently studying in Class 11 will be provided with a Vivo smartphone and a cash scholarship.
Earlier, Vivo supported the education of 100 disadvantaged students by providing vivo smartphones for their online education.
In addition to this, the brand has also provided a cash grant of Rs 8,000 to over 65 students as part of the “Vivo For Education” initiative.
