YSU Announces Keeps Horizon League Basketball Championships Ticket Information

Youngstown State University’s Department of Intercollegiate Athletics is excited to announce game ticket information for the upcoming Keeps Horizon League Basketball Championships.

Entering the final week of regular-season play, both the YSU men’s and women’s teams have clinched bracket positions to play host to games at the Beeghly Center.

The YSU women have a current overall record of 23-4 overall and are 17-3 in the league as they hold down first place entering the final week of the regular season. The Guins play two road games this week (Feb. 24 at IUPUI and Feb. 26 at UIC) to conclude their regular season. The women will be home on Thursday, March 3, to host a quarterfinal game, as they have clinched a first-round bye.

Game tickets for next week’s women’s contest will be available starting on Thursday, Feb. 24. All tournament game tickets for the March 3 date are priced at $10. Penguin Club members and season-ticket holders will have until 5 pm on March 1 to order their tickets.

All current YSU students will receive a free game ticket with their valid YSU student ID for both the men’s and women’s games.

The YSU men will either host a first-round game (March 1) or a quarterfinal contest (March 3). The Penguins’ seed will be determined by the outcome of their final two regular-season games. Game tickets for either home contest will be $10 and go on-sale at Stambaugh Stadium when the final seeding is determined later this week.

The YSU men currently have an overall record of 18-11 and are 12-7 in league play. They also play two road games this week (Feb.24 at Wright State and Feb. 26 at Northern Kentucky) to conclude the regular season.

The YSU Athletic Ticket Office, inside Stambaugh Stadium, is open from 9 am to 5 pm for ticket sales or fans can call (330) 941-1978 to purchase tickets. Penguin fans can follow YSUsports.com for that information.
